Ketorolac tromethamine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used primarily to reduce eye pain and inflammation following ocular surgery by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. It is also used for temporary relief of itching associated with seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
